Joanna Jadlow, MPA, CPA, CFP

Joanna Jadlow is a collaborative divorce financial specialist in DallasJoanna Jadlow joined Robertson, Griege & Thoele in 2005 as a     member of the Financial Planning Team, after four years in public accounting.  She helps clients with complicated financial lives make decisions that support their long-term financial security. Many of the people with whom she works are relatively new to managing their own finances and may feel overwhelmed and intimidated. Joanna helps to break things down into manageable pieces and keep them on track toward reaching their long-term goals.

As a financial neutral in the collaborative divorce process, Joanna helps divorcing couples make educated financial decisions that are in the best interest of their family. It can be difficult to transition financially from one household to two, but working with a professional team that is focused on the goals and interests of both spouses allows for creative solutions to challenging circumstances. She believes it is important for divorcing spouses to treat each other with respect, to focus on the future instead of the past, and to conduct themselves in a way that does not negatively impact their children.

She has been quoted in the Dallas Morning News and Kiplinger’s Retirement Report.  She is currently working on a book about divorce readiness with two other professionals.

In the community, Joanna serves as a Board Member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas (BGCD), Chair of the BGCD Programs Committee and a founding member of the BGCD Scholarship Committee.  She spends a significant amount of time volunteering with the BGCD Collegiate Steps program, mentoring at-risk high school students to help them prepare for college.  Joanna is a member of Junior League of Dallas, as well as many professional organizations.

Joanna is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Honors and Accounting and her Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2010, she was named one of the Top Wealth Managers in Dallas by D Magazine.
